I just want to modify an existing theme but I want to give a different name.

To take an example, the following is what I want to do. Let’s say that I have the theme ‘classic.’ I make a copy of this and modify it. And then, I want to give a different name from ‘classic’ to this theme. I thought that, if I just copy classic folder, then the folder name would automatically become the theme’s name, but I guess not???

Edit "Theme Name:" in your style.css.
