How can huppages or Squidoo help my SEO?

    I have heard that hubpages and squidoo can build me powerful backlinks that can really help my PR.
    How do I do this?

    Hubpages took a bit hit with the latest Google algorithm update, but Squidoo is still good for now.

    Create a squidoo lens with unique and valuable content, include links you want to gain backlinks, and then spread the word about the lens. The subject matter of the lens should be relevant to what you are linking to.

    I've spent months with hubpages and squidoo. End result? Not much to show for it. If you are serious about SEO, forget about these two places, they waste a lot of time for little return. Squidoo doesn't help at all with rankings, only with direct traffic if people click the links on your squidoo pages (very little traffic) and hubpages is nofollow until a certain level. Extremely hard to get a good level where the links are dofollow.
