Please don't create a Facebook page just to bring traffic, Create a Facebook Page to engage with your audience and to build a community around your business.

Get this : Facebook is a place to engage and interact with your customers.

Forget the whole thing that simply by sharing content on FB you will generate traffic for your website and if you had planned to create a FB page for the same, leave the whole idea it will save your time.

    Hope this helps :)

There are Profiles and Fanpages. Profiles are good for having your friends, keep their updates etc. So what I am saying is if you want to get traffic you are going to use whatever tool (fan page profile) to help you. It's true, you don't want to make spam as facebook might detect and close your profile.

But the point is you can create several pages that will become the center of communication between you and the audience. First for a person to become a fan, you have to make them click on the LIKE button. After that they might get to see what you publish when they browse through their news feed.

It's not easy to get traffic. I've known people that have fan pages with 5000 likes and get very little visits from them. It might be because the fans are not active or maybe they don't care about what you publish.

In the end it's all about learning and testing. Yes! Facebook included.

The benefits of Facebook, Twitter or any other social networking website is the fact that you can follow or friend people, instantly start engaging in conversation with people's comments, etc. And from this you can slowly build recognition, connect with people, get people to link back to you, meet people who will retweet or resend out your articles (if you post any), build your brand, services etc. Create a Facebook Page to interact, increase brand awareness and customers' loyalty.

You should create a fan page with good quality contents relating to your website and once start getting likes for your page than you can ask people visit your website and if they will found your website useful than surely they will come back to your website again and again...

Create Facebook page if you want to promote your brand as well as your products or if you want to let know your friends want to engage too than create profile. After creating Facebook page post unique and good content regarding your brand or products than share it with your friends or in different groups such as Likes. Post your content in such way people get comment in your written text so that audience keep touch with your every post.

Facebook is the most highly visited site and it will be a great extension of your existing channel . It is best to create one and make it more like a fan page. Share content that is relevant to your audience and encourage engagement such as sharing videos and photos but most importantly is to make it more fun.You are not only reaching out to the existing fans but also to the friends of fans.

A FB page should not be seen as separate instrument for generating traffic to your website, it should be an integrated part of promoting your product through a huge network.

So first of all drop the idea of "just" having a FB page, it takes an effort, but is also worth it.
Your FB page is in essence your direct daily communication with your current or future costumers. This is where you can build real relations with your costumers, giving them product or industry insights, news updates, user information, run special promotions or competitions, there is no real end to the possibilities.

If you are looking for a way to link to your sales page, I suggest you look at our tool, it gives you FREE Multi-media posts, so You Can Easily Sell and Promote Your Products Right Inside Your News Feed!

seo-first is right. Facebook and all other social medias are not mentioned to generate traffic, at first, it helps to keep your customer and communicate with him, promote special marketing campaigns and etc.

I don't even recommend to create FB untill you don't have enough visitors on your website.
