    Look at how local property managers work with landlords and tenants and set up a website automating as much of the process as possible

    Have you tried listing it on AirBnB? That's one option.
    You could also list it on Craigslist locally.
    There is annother site apartments.com

    These are three choices out of hundred available.

    You can try to talk to the owner/landlord and see what deal you can strike. It isn't really easy, as not all owners or landlords are willing to have a middleman in such things. Typically any landlord or owner would want to have the rent money in whole as much as possible. It can be possible though for those who are renting large apartments or such with many tenants.
