I was just checking cb's marketplace and noticed a traffic bot software is the number 1 in gravity now with over 650+ all within 1 week......pushing Mike Geary's Truth Abt Abs to the 2nd place Is this all manipulated....or is it just the affiliates buying (probably returning later) and making the gravity climb....never seen any product with steep gravity raise within a week!!!
This is artificial gravity for me. So far there were few products like this. Affiliates buy it as soon as they all have it, it is all over with the product. Plus I think that the refund rate here is HUGE.
You do see this quite a bit and isn't necessarily manipulation. It happens when: a. they build up to a big launch - i.e. collect email addresses, and hype up the product, give away freebies over a few weeks before announcing the product and allowing people to buy it. b. the product is a make money online / internet / affiliate marketing product. When there is a launch like this there are a mass of sales within just 2-3 days as big affiliate marketers mail their lists about the launch and everyone is "allowed" to buy at once, and the gravity jumps massively, and if it is an affiliate marketing product then this is even more so as half the people who are buying have their own clickbank accounts and buy under their own affiliate IDs (to get a 75% discount essentially) and so adding crazy amounts of extra gravity points. These products seem to come and go, in a couple of weeks the gravity will of probably died on this product and Mike Greary will be back at the top This was the case just 2-3 weeks ago with a PLR pack product.
Thanks for all your input. I thought so....if only clickbank provides data on refund rate too....!!!!...
There's certain vendors that have 10,000 + lists of affiliates so there you go.. It's not something unusual to see in Clickbank, but you'll surely see that gravity going down soon. Al.
A big Mailing List of experienced Affiliates, Joint Ventures, Launch dates with Promotional Material ready before the site goes live. Basically if you make up a big hype and provide everything your Affiliates will need to promote and then tell them exactly when the site goes live your gravity will soon rise as soon as your site is live. A huge list does NOT make huge gravity. Huge gravity comes with MULTIPLE affiliates selling, not ONE affiliate selling to 500.000 people. Besides, gravity doesn't mean squat, really.
This could have been because of a product launch. Also I have heard of people paying others to set up click bank accounts and buy their products through their affiliate link in order to increase gravity.
I don't understand how you can artificially boost gravity. If it's a product marketed towards affiliates, then people are aware that the gravity will be inflated because they will be buying it for themselves through their clickbank ID's. If it's a product marketed to non-affiliates, and the vendor is making multiple accounts, buying, and then returning. Won't his account get flagged anyway for too many returns and he'll lose income? I really don't understand how you can seriously artificially boost gravity.
I know some vendors that have huge lists of affiliates. The most important tactic to keep the affiliate interested on your products is to send them periodical updates/ promotional material / news / and anything that has to do with your product. This way they'll remain subscribed .. Having a list of over 10,000 affiliates like some of the known vendors in clickbank is just sweet. I've seen some huge lauches in my entire clickbank journey and honestly they were made by people that were already making a killing with their products/ having well over 10,000 affiliates. Boosting your gravity can't get any easier if you have the money to invest ... Al. Al.
