Hi, I bought 7 domain names that I want to sell. 6 of them are the same domain with different TLDs (.net, .co, .be, .fr, .info, .eu, .org) and the other is a .com domain. All of those domains are adult-related. As I have never done this before, I read that services like sedo are the fastest ways to sell out unused domains. So, I used sedo to publish those domain for selling and I used the option of parking to monetize them. For the prices, I chose the default "suggested price" by the service itself (suggested prices for all domains were between $530 and $600). Result after more than 1 month: -No one made a proposal for buying. -$0 on the parking report. I think that many of you are experts in domain trading/parking .. etc. All I need is some tips to a beginner, knowing that : -Domains are new so no traffic at all. -I would like to sell as fast as possible. -If selling is impossible, I would like at least to monetize parked domains. Cheers.
In my experience, domains on there own are usually not that valuable unless they really are sort after and parked domains have never set the world alight for income so I would consider doing something with them to add value.
Look for a domain broker here on forum if you want to sell them quick, maybe you get lucky and find a professional one able to sell them quickly for a reasonable commission.
come on tell the truth what makes you think they are worth $500 ? list them in your post and we will tell you if that is worth asking price or give advice on monetize
The easiest way to sell them without a headache is probably right here on the forums (and other similar forums)...Keep in mind, you're not going to get nearly as much for them compared to if you found an end user, but the forums are a great place to move things cheap and quickly!
I have about 20 over domains and recently, I have been turning most of them into auto blogs and sell them as websites. That is much better than selling as domains, personally.
You can't sell turds. If you have crap domains than you just suck it up as a loss of being a newbie in the domaining business and try and learn something from it. The truth of the matter is if you have no knowledge of the business you aren't going to be registering domains that are worth much if anything at all. If you truly do think the domains are worth something, you may want to get an appraisal on dnforum.
From my past experience you need to find someone that really want your domain name, it is hard to sell a website that really makes money and even harder to sell websites that are empty and don't have any content.
