    Hello,

I'm pleased to shared this article/advice with you guys. Hope it can help newbies. Please post your feedback! it has been titled "How Build a Good Reputation Within the Forums".

The most common answer to questions "How to promote my web site" is "Register and post in the popualr forums". This advice is easy to follow but it is very hard to be visible within the forums. You can see many other users in any popula forums who post there to promote their business or just for fun. Do you need to compete them?

Our answer is "No". Forums are not a place where anyone should go just to feature their signature. Boards are aimed to create and support communities where it's much better to be valuable member than try to promote yourself. The best promotion is the good reputation.

So our first advice is "Don't be a member if you are not motivated to post and discuss without having commercial interest". Spending time on posting meaningless messages will not make anyone to do business with you.

The other important thing is to have a good knowledge about the industry. You will be able to join to general discussions only Without it. Having an expertise in any specific area means you will be able to help others to find answers and to resolve issues.

Motivation and knowledge are crucial factors for your success.

When you register with a popular forums, the fist thing to do is to read the Rules. I know that anyone who has a good intentions can say Rules are not so important to read. It is not like that. Most popular forums has some "tricky" Rules. You must keep in mynd that managing a popular forums means good business for someone. So the forums' moderators will take every chance to throw you out of the boards if you represent a business that might by considered as competitor. Of course moderators can not be blamed for forums's policy enforcement.

To help other members is the next you can do if you want to make both your membership and your website popular. There are many people who don't have advanced knowledge and come to forums to ask questions. Try to help them and be descriptive.

It is also very important to be the first one who posted an important news or to open a discussion on issue important for the whole community

Another advice we can offer is not to try cheap tricks and to post messages just ot see your signature featured in a thread.

The last one is avoid posting opinions on most common topics where everyone is expert.

Just sit in front of your PC and try to be creative. It works!
