My website bounce rate reduced from 50% to 10% in last 25 days. I started my blog last month. Less bounce rate is good for your website??

yes it is one of the factors (google grabs it from it's toolbar) to bias the rankings according to the sources.

Bounce rate is the percentage of single-page visits or visits in which the person left your site from the entrance (landing) page. Use this metric to measure visit quality - a high bounce rate generally indicates that site entrance pages aren't relevant to your visitors.

I believe that bounce rate does have an effect on SEO in Google. The lower the bounce rate the more relevance Google will give you. This is only a theory. Either way, lower bounce rate is good as visitors are looking at more than one page on your site.

I think after few months. I should be bother about bounce rate. Any thing below 40% is good i guess. I kept min. ads and lots of posts on side bars with comments box. And only very small adsense unit and cpm banner. I think this is reason of my bounce rate reduction.

In my opinion bounce rate is the time spent by your visitors on you site. If the bounce rating low, it's good for your site.

Bounce Rate essentially represents the percentage of initial visitors to a site who "bounce" away to a different site, rather than continue on to other pages within the same site. The lower the bounce rate, the better!

its about how long the user stays in ur sites and pages visited. The better the content the less bounce rate i think.

Before identify the importance of bounce rate.....you need to know about the bounce rate--

Bounce Rate:- If new visitor, who is coming at any page but not navigate at website or not stay at webpage more than 5 second then it will be come under bounce rate....if your website have higher bounce rate then there will be less website conversion.

Improve your website conversion and improve your online reputation....
