How books have you read? how many do you read per month?

My rough estimate would be that I've read more than 300 books since getting out of high school about 7 years ago, so that would translate to about .824 books per week. (I'm not counting any of the college textbooks or the reference books that I use.)

Now I'm reading about 3 books, but I'm trying to get on track to reading at least 1 book week.

My current focus is on personal development, psychology, sociology, business, marketing, communications, spirituality, relationships, biographies, autobiographies.

How are you doing? Do you read? do you stay away from reading? or is it just digg.com and this forum?

    Looking forward to everbodies comments.

I read 'To Kill a Mockingbird' when I was in school for an English exam, also did Shakespeare but more of the theatrical stuff.

Other than that I've never read a book up until a week ago when I read Seth Godins 'Purple Cow' marketing book, I've since purchased every other book he's written and I'm getting through them quite fast.

He's a good author, covers a lot of important subjects, I read his books as they have come out. He has a blog at: http://sethgodin.typepad.com/

For some interesting reading you might also find Gary Halbert at http://www.thegaryhalbertletter.com/ he's a legend, but more in the area of direct marketing in the offline world.

If you're coming from a theatre background, you might consider reading "Art of Seduction" by Robert Greene, it covers "marketing" but from many different points of view, such as a president "seducing" a nation, etc.

I love reading. I read a lot! Mainly cars numberplates, various manuals, things written on walls and yellow pages.

On a more serious note i go through stages. If i find a good book il read it in a few days without being able to stop for more than a few hours (sleepless nights). Or i can go for half a year without reading... Depends...

Work is taking up all my time these days. I remember the pre-university days when I sat on my arse reading pretty much all day. I've read hundreds upon hundreds of books, we have quite the library at home :)

I really like to read but haven’t had time to finish any of the books I started. Ok, ok, I’m reading Icon:eek: “I was curious, nothing wrong with that”.

Never been much of a reader, always prefered puzzles. The internet has introduced us to a different kind of reading.
