ho do blogs get so high traffic, i seen people inthis forum claming that there blogs are fetch traffic as high as 5000 visitors daily. does a blog is actuclly capable of such a huge potential. and if yes woh do they acheive it. through ppc or organic methods.
You write good content, then people will come in through the search engines, directories, and backlinks.
It takes a lot of work to elevate a blog to those standards. First you have to know how to write correctly. Then you must have the talent to create interesting posts. If you have these to traits some publicity and hard work will get you there.
It took me about six months of solid blogging to reach the 1000 visitors per day mark. There are many stories of those who get to 10,000 visitors per day in the same time or only reach 100 per day despite working just as hard. While there are certainly specific things you can do that will give you the best chance to get high levels of traffic there are key variables that will impact your results - 1. What industry you are working in 2. How large is the marketplace 3. How compelling is your content 4. Are you marketing your blog effectively 5. Plus a bit of good luck too!
It is really up to the search engines and link trades to get them there. It is then up to the author to keep them there...
Getting traffic needs a lot of hard work. First, you must provide good content on a daily basis and then you must work hard to get a lot of backlinks and write good comments in as many blogs as possible and read good blogs and be patient. I have not heard of any blog becoming profitable or successful in just one month. After 50 days of blogging (I did not miss even one day) and 200 posts, now I have dailys hits of 150+ and I am satisfied with it. Really building traffic for a blog is a very tough act. Lastly, be patient and pray to God.
link exchange will work in getting traffic, don't forget to submit blog to blog directory like http://blogz-search.com
Getting traffic to a blog is tough work and requires patience. Keep your posts keyword rich, ping after each post, get backlinks from similar blogs/websites, participate in other blogs and forums.... and do these things all over again each day. That's the traditional method. But there are much smarter ways to make a blog a quick success. And I don't think people who know it are going to reveal it here.
some sites of book marking does not accept the blog url in bookmarking or directory submission so please list me directory list which can accept blog name and keep them on site.
I remember when the Canon 5dii came out and I posted a link (as soon as possible) to a video showing its video capability and my traffic spiked. So it is about time sensitive posting as well as content.
I hope I am not mistaken but a high traffic blog is usually attached to a high traffic website in some form or fashion. The website is usually developed over time by highly targeted interest people.
They really have good content. Or they're local celebrities (From where I am, celebrities have blogs and tumblrs). Or their life is that interesting. Or they have a good taste in fashion. In short, they write something that ignites emotions from their readers.
Just like the Blog i update, its 2 weeks old but has been indexed by all major search engines. It is recieving a hit of more than 1000 visits per day. I use good seo with google and bing only. You can email me for help if you like as i cannot post a link here
The blogs get their major traffic by their content. If the content is ensured with its quality then it will be recommended by more people. The other way is their publishing their blog on other social networking sites like sharing on Facebook,Google +,twitter, etc.
Here are a few tips to get traffic for your blog Reader Friendly Content: At all costs keep your content – articles, poems, photographs, videos – reader friendly, that is to say, it should keep more and more readers interested. Your reader must be at the center of you post in a way that your reader must feel that he is gaining something out of reading your post. This is the basic rule in marketing. Worthwhile: Never let the reader feel that he has been tricked into reading your post or clicking on your blog link. You are thwarting all your long term chances of that reader coming back to your blog, in which case your blog rankings over the long term are in a dicey position. Check for errors: Making grammatical and spelling errors can be a major put off for many readers. They may not visit your blog again simply because the errors that you make are too high. Always proof read your blog. A small typo here and there can be understood, but make sure you don’t make any major errors. KISS: Or, Keep It Short and Simple. This is the thumb rule you must follow at all point. Long winding posts tend to get boring. And it may contain nothing that is interesting to the reader. Also no one has the time enough for your blog, no matter how well you write. In fact, your blog will be much more appreciated if you put your thoughts simply and shortly. Interesting: Make sure that you hold your reader’s attention by making your posts snazzy. They must not be written in a tone that is tiring to read. Write short sentences and keep then crisp and precise. Always hit the point immediately in the course of your article. Link: Keep linking the blogs you read to yours in order to build a network those people will be in turn encouraged to link you. Remember, linking increases rankings. Keywords: Using the keywords of your posts frequently increases the search ability of that particular article of yours which in turn leads more people to visit your blog. Clear Thoughts: Make sure you put your thought clearly before the readers so that it does not become tedious for them to read. Colloquialism: You can write in a friendly tone. Avoid using too many slang words, but otherwise, if your post demands it, you can be colloquial. Post Title: A catchy post title or headline is half your business solved. It can glue a reader to your post almost immediately. However, do not put misleading post titles, or you will lose creditability. So, be consistent with your blog content and watch traffic flowing in to your blog!
