I'm asking this as a Swede. Of course he is very big here in Sweden, but racists here always claim he's overrated, not a "real" Swede, and hardly noticed in Europe. So far with the Europeans I've talked with it's the opposite, but I can't use a few talks as statistics, what do you all think? Except the Brits, we know you don't like him, especially after he scored 4 goals at you ; )
No doubt he's one of the best strikers in the world. I don't know anyone else who combines flair with such strength as he does. I'm confident he'd score as many goals as Van Persie in the Premier League if he played for Man U.
Personally I think it's sad he never tried PL, I had hopes when Mourinho took over Chelsea again, but instead he stayed in Paris.
No of course not, imo Ronaldo might be the greatest, but it's a matter of taste. Ibra is nowhere near Ronaldo or Messi, but he's one of the best out there
Ibra is a great footballer. It is just he never play in the english premier league. Then everyone will know that he is a great man.
I honestly think it's fair to compare Zlatan with CR. In my opinion it's absolutely unfair to compare a striker with a winger as the position requires different skills. If we are to measure the impact on the team, I'd even say that Zlatan has played a bigger role in his team in the most recent years. Cristiano is obviously a fantastic footballer but he has been supported by far better players in Real Madrid than Zlatan has in for example PSG and AC Milan.
Zlatan all day errday! when you talk about football, he'll sure one of the names to be mentioned. He's a thug! hahaha!
And yet everyday there's someone who wants to trash him, now a Bayern guy, the president I think. Personally, regardless of what I think of Zlatan, I think it's great with colorful athletes, with a big character, it's more interesting and more fun. Messi is good, but oooh so boring...I wonder what happened if you threw together a team with Da Costa, Zlatan, Ronaldo, Totti, Drogba, Terry and a few more, full war?? ha ha
