How BIG is your Package??

Okay I'm talking about Big screen TVs..How big is yours?

I wanna get a 52 inch screen TV there so cheap now!!

 

0". Don't own a TV. Not one that works...

 

36" TV in the living room and a 52" in the bedroom.

I only watch about an hour or two of TV per week.

 

If you don't watch that much can I have yours?

 

about 120" across, why? is that not big enough???

Everyone one made fun of our 19" big screen, so I bought a projector and now we use the wall.

Same here debunked! 140" though, lol. And no Rob, a good white wall works way better than a screen, unless you are willing to spend about $3000.00 on a screen.

 

Jebus! I didn't realize they were that expensive.

 

Do you have to make it really dark in order to get a good view from the projector?

 

You used to, the projector I have for downstairs to watch the footie on needs darkness for a nice clear image but their a lot cheaper and better today than the one I bought 3 years ago - I think its measured in lumins or something but the modern ones are pretty damn good in daylight.

I have a 42" Plasma in the living room and a 37" in the office.

 

I bought a used one on ebay for 350 about 2 years ago, it only has 650 lumans, so it works best set up like a theater for darkness. The newer projectors are 1500 to 2000 lumens and are much brighter than mine. I am sort of cheap so it works for now until the bulb burns or it just stops working, then I will get a new one.

Screens are expensive if you want a motorized one. They just dont make screens big enough. You can also buy reflective screen paint, which isn't the cheapest thing either. Right now it is just a white wall framed out nicely -I'll have to take a picture later.

 

I have 34 inch sony VEGA tube TV, planning to buy a LCD (above 40 inch) within this year, maybe by end of this year.

 

I have a WEGA as well. It has a really great picture...but when I move, the TV is staying here. The thing must way 400 lbs.

 

yeah.... thouse things are realy heavy... in fact all sony wide screeds are.

I caried one of thouse 3 floors up (it hurts even when i think about it)

 

I am such a poor guy, I got only 29' one. Well, I don't watch TV that much!

 

My dad has a 60' inch one, but I believe I only have a 20' inch one or so, never measured.

 

yeh my house has 1 72" widescreen hdtv in the main living room and another 70" in the other living room, i myself have no tv in my room

 

You dont have to measure, you know when you buy it.

WEGA are heavy and big as well, they take too much space thats why i want LCD, which i could just hang on my wall in living room.

 

Got a 32" tube tv now, looking to get a 32" - 40" lcd around the end of the year.

 

My package?

Based on the posts, I think I may be the smallest here... only 8 1/2 inches.
