    Hard Drive?
Looks like everyday we need more and more big hard drives 6-7yrs back when i started using computer ,just 30 GB hard drive was far more sufficient for me .
Now i have 300+ GB hard drives but still not sufficient for me .So DP, how big is your hard drive? Does Size matters for you? Are your satisfied with your hard drive.

I think i might get an external 500GB one (10.000RPM) so with 320GB i have already it should be good. :D

That HHD is on the sale for £79.99 in Curries or Dixon's for UK people in case anyone is interested. Quite a bargain.

Yeah we always need bigger hardrives. A couple of months back we bought a 500Gb NAS storage system, thinking that it would last use years, its half full already and we are thinking about getting a USB one to plug in to it.
hardrives are getting cheaper and cheaper.

i guess this kind of topic title should be refrain from professional forum like DP.

Kindly keep that in mind from next time, as this is not a teen forum

    Thanks

Nope I am not satisfied with my 40 gig hardrive. I have far too many files to store and I am planning to get at least a 300 gig external drive.

in our country we don't have that much.

    we only get 160Gb
    so i had 160x2

    and i don't want to make it 160x3 .

well planning for 500 Gb now.

if i had lot money i would go for Hitachi Deskstar 7K1000 1 TB SATA
    it costs $400+

oh sorry if you have taken it wrongly.
take it positively. This is the best way to cherish your life.

    then I have another 320 & 160 Ext; 250GB(SATA) for my C drive

Wow 700 GB! I have a 144 GB hard drive (I thought that was decent), and I have only filled a quarter of it . . .and I've had this thing for 3 years.

    I'm pretty happy.

I want more space, but when it comes to buying one, I think, why? why do I need this space? I can download anything again that I want if I ever miss it. do I use all of the crap I'm holding onto now? no. so I just clean out my system and don't buy new space.

    but I've got 500gb.
