How big is American Idol?

I was cruising the dropped domain names lists this morning and saw idolhq.com . . . I had to register it. As it does not incorporate the copyrighted name American Idol, there is no copyright issue. . . . I feel it has enormous potential . . . what do you think?

American Idol is a big thing but it's starting to get old and repetitive. It could have potential.

    Hi AmazinAzn

This just struck me as one of those names that will resell very easily. As I am thinking of uses for development, I come up with an RSS feed news site providing updates on all of the Idol shows worldwide and supporting itself via adsense revenue.

It would have been huge 3 years ago.
I say develop it into an e commerce site selling all of the idol crap.
DVD's, CD's, Clothing, and everything else that is licensed that you find on affiliate programs.

    Hi SEOdir.net

"hq" is the commonly used acronym for "headquarters". I'm always a bit reluctant to incorporate acronyms into domain names for exactly this reason, not everyone recognizes them for what they are supposed to mean.
