I have an employee in a 3rd world country who works for one of my businesses. She is never busy. Her written English is not very good. If you were in my place, how would you use her for link building or SEO in general? Thanks for your insights.
why dont you supply the articles and let her submit them to article directories as well as web directories, this way she is utilised best.
If she does not write good English, I would keep here to link directories and social bookmark links where she does not have to contribute to the community like a blog or forum. Just give her the link info and have her submit it around.
for submission job (directory submission, article directory submission, social bookmarking, etc), no one needs to know very good English. as long the person can read and follow instruction, its good enough. just hook her up with some submission job and she wil be able to do it. you may need to provide her with the list of places where she needs to submit to and train her at the beginning, but after one or two submissions, she will get the hang of it
Give her a list of excel files and teach her how to build backlinks. No english needed for that. directory submission, forum profiles, article submission(that you wrote), copy and paste spun articles into web 2.0 sites. Cheers
In blog commenting we need need good english to get approved. But she can do blog commenting in his local language blogs
You give her all the information and just ask her to do copy/paste / submitting work. Like articles for an article directory and also some social bookmarking. Maybe you could also train her to do short forum posts. Just one or two lines
Thank you all for the feedback. I guess now I need to learn how to do some of these things myself before I can teach her. Here are a few questions based on your comments: - You listed: directory submission, article submission, forum profiles, social bookmarking, blog commenting, forum posting (the last two requiring some English which I think I would stay away from initially). Which category is the best one to start with? - Directory submission services are really cheap. I assume the main advantage to doing it myself is that I can target specific directories better. Anyone have good lists of directories for the health care industry? - Anyone have lists of directories that accept deep links? I have some inner pages that make $5-6/day and I would like to promote them more. - I have no experience with social bookmarking. Don't know whether it is safe to just go in and put a bookmark on Digg for all of my important pages or whether a more subtle approach is required. - I don't really know what you mean by "forum profiles". Are you talking about creating new users in a lot of forums and adding links in their profiles?
I would stay away from the forum profile links these days if I were you. They have little SEO value anymore and becoming even less. Just my opinion
Before offloading your work to her it is very important that you know how to do them yourself, without that the setup wont work well.
