How best to relocate in this scenario

I have just a few sites I started out, and none of them have ever had their own domain name... the way I've been doing it is having each site in its own folder in my (one) top-level folder.

The sites started out on ProHosting, a free hosting provider. The root folder for my account is at http://office3.cloud.prohosting.com. An example of one of the sites under that account is http://office3.cloud.prohosting.com/moremyspacefriends

Later on, I started hosting the sites at home. The new root directory is http://linkme.ath.cx... and the example site listed above is at http://linkme.ath.cx/moremyspacefriends, in a slightly more updated form.

Now I recall reading that having the same content as another site hurts your page rank, and basically I want to only manage my sites on my personal server (http://linkme.ath.cx). What's my best course of action--simply replacing all the pages under my old ProHosting account with "This page has been moved HERE" and linking to the new ones?

    Thanks :)
