more than likely, how much depends on you and how you go about it and if there interested in what you say/post, link to your own site tho thats not spammy otherwise you will get banned one way or another.
I agree with keith115. Do not advertise any thing on facebook. You can link your website to your profile and any fan page.. You can monetize using your fan page..
What the heck.. So here is Newton's fourth law - "For every question in this world, these exist a website dedicated for that question"
Swimmerboynick2010, are we talking about a regular or fake Facebook account? In case it's your personal account, I would really be careful. You would not "spam" your friends in real life, don't do it on the internet. (Not that I assume you have the intention). It's definitely ok to put your URL into about me and contact information, but promoting something aggressively on your or another persons wall will probably damage your reputation. If it's not a personal account, tell me more about it.
One way I think of is posting Google Adsense link & get it clicked by the friends. We can do same at Twitter.
I´m all new to this and must say that not even I would have thought of that. Sounds like a really bad idea...
Facebook monetization isn't something that I consider as appropriate. You don't send links to friend, send affiliate links on fan page, etc. Bad for you, bad for others. You get on Facebook to get knowned. Only one professional way to do this, it's the fan page. Getting known can get you business, but selling stuff isn't the use of Facebook. Users are not there to buy either, they're their to connect with people and things they like.
Thanks for all the tips! Ive decided not to gamble my facebook account on making extra money... I will put my URL in the about me part though. Cheers, Nick
