I think this is the correct category.

A little info about the site:
    Domain: Footballunleashed .com
    Age: 3-4 months
Traffic: 2000+ uniques per month (UK/US Traffic)

I started the site 3 months ago and recently launched the forums in the hope of getting it to be more of a community.
Other than selling banner ads and text links ads (which i dont want to do) im not too sure on how to monetise this best.

I want to get the site to be earning me £1000 a month now i know that is WELL off at the minute as i dont have anywhere near enough traffic, but for now i would love the site to get me £100($200 a month) thats my first target. At the minute its getting around $30 a month.

Ive thought about affiliates but i dont really understand them and never really got into it that much. Can anyone help me?

    Cheers
    Tony

Search for a good affiliate program on clickbank (Football training, etc, etc). Then look if they have a affiliate section just look for banners and put them on your website. If they dont have banners, ask somebody to make it or do it yourself :) + Add some AdSense ads in your news messages.

I used to add banners for selling shirts and football equipment for affiliates such as tradedoubler.

Although I never really made much, as my traffic was pretty low.

Maybe joining amazon or CJ.Com and adding some banners to sell football things, such as books, dvds, etc?
