The question is as in the title. I havent made it yet but was wondering if its easy to get traffic and regular readers and stuff
Huh, there is no easy way to get traffic. First, make good blog, post quality and original content and then post it on many social bookmarked sites and forums. Good luck.

you need to have quality content without which its hard to get traffic. have you tried CC wordpress plugin? it jazzes up your blog with high quality content in mins. -dan
There is one easy way to get traffic. Get famous offline and tell your fans tat you have a blog. There is no easy way to get traffic, its all hard work. I depends on what is your purpose on getting traffic. I assume you only want readers read your stuff, and not making money out of them. If that's the case, then you can try joining tons of social sites and follow blogs not you think you can invite. But if you want to make money, I suggest you work for the search engine traffic. They are the ones who are really looking for something.

Good quality unique content is key, but that alone doesn't guarantee lots of readers, or conversions, if you're looking to sell something. There are a number of blackhat methods that can up you in search results. Blogfarming for example, if done properly, and depending on which keywords you are targeting. Always think out of the box and never be afraid of experimenting with different plausible methods.
