I've got 30 seconds to advertise the following opportunity on a local radio station: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4evdw3OoWY Can anyone help with ideas for the best script? Our call to action is for people to call a phone number or visit a website address. Thanks in advance, James.
One thing it might be worth looking into is a text number i.e. something like text money to 12345 or something similar. There are companies that offer this service at a relatively cheap amount and you just use one of there numbers and anyone that texts your specific word would get details about it (or whatever way you decide to set it up). I'm not sure about the best script to use (I assume you mean what is being spoken), but you definitely need to make sure it is something people will remember, especially the website address. Lots of people listen to the radio while driving or while out and about so can't always write details down. I have heard interesting things on the radio or seen adverts and by the time i've got home completely forgot the web address. If you use a .biz .net, etc.. there is a high change you will lose a lot of traffic to the .com. If using .biz like on the video, you will really need to emphasize that so people don't forget. Anyway, not sure i've help that much, but good luck
If you can get CBC radio 2, they have a lot of good programming. Last Friday afternoon they had a recorded interview with Angela Hewitt talking about Bach and all kinds of topics on the interpretation on piano, with examples... I guess she has a DVD out of the WTC with a lot of information geared to students.
Did you even count the seconds during that time? No offense, but you should know at least a little on what you are doing here. If you can't even know to do that... But, anyway, good luck with it.
Does anyone have experience writing successful radio ad scripts? I could still do with help on this from someone experienced in the field.
Well the station owe me some money and will pay me in advertising so I thought it could be a good opportunity to promote.
