marketing online offers a whole plethora of options. There are articles, press releases, videos, podcasts, banner ads, PPC, pop-ups and much more. Paid Methods (this is only a partial list): • PPC - pay-per-click • CPA - cost-per-action • Newsletter Advertising • Paid Textlinks • Banner Ads Organic Methods include: • Article Marketing • Press Releases • Videos • Podcasts • And more... There is one key difference between these two categories. Paid advertising can only drive traffic to your site so long as you are paying for it. One of the most important tips to be a good marketer is to have the ability to understand what the buyer wants. If you can see how the consumer sees your website or your product you will be able to change it and perfect to MAKE them buy it. Notice how I use the word make and not persuade because if you know what every person on your site is looking for, most of them will convert.
Reading threads on this forum is a start but you need to actually Implement and Start is key to taking action!
I own a marketing company and to be honest. The best way is commercials and the second is seo or ppc for google and the third is telemarketing. Let me know if you need a company to help you.
How does internet marketing work? Basically, its selling products, and, or services online. Often these products can be sold with commissions paid for every sale you make. You then make further commission on that product, when people who bought from you, then sell that product to others, and so on.
You need to read book about internet marketing. I can't suggest anything because my skill comes from experience (I'm the street smart type of guy), but maybe you can find one in Amazon.
You can be a great "marketer" and be great at "marketing". Marketing is all about grabbing people attention and get the sales messages across. A bad grammar might gain you attention, not a good one thought. Just kidding. If your market is not English speaking people, certainly this is not a problem. Find a role model that you admire, study him intensely! This should give you a good start.
Your best bet, especially if you're new is just to spend the next few days reading. Read as much as you possibly can both here and over at the warrior forums. If you don't pick up something you can use then there is something seriously wrong.
@Nathan Bai That's not true. Marketers who know what they're doing aren't paying for traffic. They're paying for CUSTOMERS. I've made 10 times as much money from paid traffic as I have from free traffic. If I stop paying all that happens is that new customer acquisition slows down. However I have built a large list of customers to sell to as many times over as I want to. The true value of paid traffic is immediate results. Whether it be for testing purposes for SEO or for actually driving new customers to your offer on demand. It's virtually unlimited.
