hi, i looking for a company where can i register as a Accredited domain registrant. anyone know what is needed? i have contacted the icann but without any feedback thanks a lot for your help
Accredition is a long drawn process and there are companies that offer you assistance to become one (filing request on your behalf, responding and looking at the suitability - all this ofcourse for a fees), however you need to have a strong portfolio (as a reseller) to show how many domains are already managed by you - before you are given an entry to the accredited registrars group. It also requires a good investment, and I am not sure what your budget is, so perhaps you could start with becoming a reseller - have at least 1000 plus domains managed by your reseller account and than go for accredition. Having said that, might also point out that rules for becoming accredited vary for each registry - so you may have to define your target segment or TLD, like ICANN for generic TLD's and similarly inregistry for .in ccTLD's. If you don't have a good plan for the future, maybe you can first become a domain reseller of some big domain registrars. This is also not bad.
It is VERY expensive and time consuming. Considering you didn't even bother googling, I doubt they would let you in.
