how badly is adsense screwing me?

ok so today i got 35 clicks and $3. what the story here? the niche is celebs. what do you guys think?

 

Like 11 cents per click... That seems low, but I'm not sure how that niche usually preforms... Are you sure it's quality traffic?

 

Why not move over to Adbrite? I had some bad times making money with adsense but now I'm earning more with adbrite!

 

It's usually get 35 clicks every day? or just today?

 

Your not alone, i get 10 to 3 dollars with 60 clicks. I guess it depends where the clicks are coming from.

 

i usually get between 20-50 clicks a day. how is adbrite preforming for everyone else here?

 

im not sure how well that niche does, buy try going though the ads with the google ad viewer and hunt down any mfa sites. after removing all these from one of my sites my cpc nearly doubled and still kept the same click though rate.

You think that's bad??? Sometimes, like yesterday, I had 3 clicks and earned 4 cents. Other days I'll have something like 50 clicks and only earn $1.50.

 

I wouldn't worry too much about the occasional low click, it's the avarage that's more important.

I get clicks anywhere from 1 cent to several dollars, but when I divide my total earnings by the total amount of clicks, the average stays at around 30 cents per click.

I'm quite happy with that.

 

11 cents for click is a good average for that niche. Entertainment ads do not have high CPC.

 

Agree, for celeb site this is quite decent. Want more - get traffic.

 

11 cent CPC for a celeb sites seems quite fair to me.

 

i made more in the past from other celeb sites i had. i just seem to be making less and less.

 

good price for celebrities. Most are 2-5 cents. Google isn't screwing you because they don't set the CPC, the advertisers do.

 

just for comparison, my average cpc for one of my anime sites is .11, so right now it's about average i'd guess

 

My average varies from day to day, sometimes it is as high as 0.50, others closer to 0.10.

 

might be time to switch to adbrite.
