How are you supposed to get started if no advertisers approve you?

I've always been hesitant to join CJ. Now that I am in, how am I supposed to get started when all the advertisers deny me for wanting to use my time, money and resources to advertise their program? I understand they want some sort of track record to see, but its hard to start a track record on a new network when none of the advertisers "Approve" you.

Is there a way to view advertisers that do not require Approval?

Nm, answered my own question. Some publishers approve automatically. Guess CJ isn't THAT bad afterall...

Yep some do it manually some automatically. Just make sure you have a decent looking website and when some merchant declines your application, sending an email to them helps in most cases.
    Good luck

Definitely contact them and let them know how you think it would be a good fit, and perhaps how you plan to market things for them. Many times advertisers will just decline you just to see if you take the time to contact them.

Definitely make sure that the website you have listed looks nice & that the link works. If you've left out a letter, or added two "http://" to your link accidentally, the advertisers won't be able to see your site & they'll reject you. It happens very often, it's surprising.
