Networking both online and offline as well as through SEO for specific niche keywords at first, then later more competing keywords. It's best to use a variety of marketing strategies to see which works best and from there whichever you see as the most beneficial you'd spend more time on. After growth, both with the brand and financially PPC options will come in.

Right now I am using SEO methods only to get traffic to my blogs. I am not going by the PPC method for the moment.

I get most of my traffic through backlinking and submitting to directories of PR 5+. It really does wonders.
There's so many ways to get visitors to your website, you have to try it all and see what you are good at. Some prefer writing articles, others may make videos, commenting on blogs, posting in forums. The important thing is that you put effort into whatever you choose.

it depends on the niche of your site. If you have a landing page with a product you're wanting to sell it's always good to get traffic from: PPC, search engines, mailing lists, and articles. Other marketing methods like forum posting and social networking are good as well.
Mostly organic traffic from all search engines. I just try to rank well for specific keywords. So yeah, 80% Google, 10% Yahoo/Bing, 10% various backlinks/bookmarks.
I usually get traffic from forum and google..always update your blog and you'll get many traffic from SE
