im aware of sites like social monkee to build my backlinks, but its not just about the number its about like diversity, so how do you manage this process, what other sites do you use to backlink

any tips and tricks would be appreciated

Backlink Flood is the best tool I have found for getting high quality backlinks pointing to your site. You can get lots of backlinks pointing to your site, but if the backlinks are of low quality it doesn't help your site at all. What I like about Backlink Flood is that is teaches you how to create link wheels to high PR sites. It is the only tool I use to get backlinks and now I have several of my sites on the first page of Google.

 

To add to my earlier comment, if you look at my signature you will see my stie 47 Hot Selling Clickbank websites. I used Backlink Flood to get this site on the first page of Google for the keyword "make money with Clickbank". I also used Backlink Flood to help be rank on the first page of Google for the phrase "clickbank websites".

 

I increase my website quality back links through directory submission, social bookmarking, article submission, blog submission, comment posting, classified submission, forum posting, twitter, facebook.

 

so is this automation submission meaning you download some software and input your link and send it out and its done for you or how does it work?

 

Here is some of my tricks that i have been using and still use even before the deindex of blog networks.

1. Article directory submission.

3. Forum posting not spamming
4. Blog comment not necessarily spamming especially when am sending it to my home page.
5. Private Article network.
6. Private blog network.
7. Press release.
8. Rss submission
9. Social bookmarking.
10. WIKI links
11. JV where i trade links with high pr site/blog owners
12. Link Wheel
13. Link Pyramid
14. Guest blogging

And many more. You just got to be creative and never stick to a few way to build links otherwise any little update will cause you to lose your earnings.

 

I think backlink from press release and web 2.0 is very good and fast to increase SERP..

 

I'm getting the impressing that link directories are a thing of the past. I'm considering deleting my link directory. Any thoughts on this? I think Google frowns upon directories.

it all depends on your niche. all techniques/tools/services provide seo value to some degree. the more competitive your niche, the higher quality of links is needed and its where smart linkbuilding comes in. if its a small niche like "make money with clickbank", then just go ahead and spam. if its a competitive niche like "weight loss", "car insurance" then simply using these link methods will not work:

My website's ranking had improved by applying off-page optimization such as forum posting and commenting, article submission, directory submission, blog commenting, social bookmarking and social media.
