How are Toshiba Laptops and their services?

Hey all

I am badly confused between toshiba dell.

I was planning to buy the toshiba satellite A300 laptop which will cost me quiet a good amount..

I wanted to know how are toshiba laptops.

At same price I am getting dell studio but have heard their dvd drive is creating problems..

badly confused..

I hope this is the right section for this kind of thread..I hate infractions

any suggestions about toshiba??

 

Here is my personal opinion
- Bought a cheap Toshiba, had it for around 12 months. Had a few problems, but was able to fix them up without any paid options or servicing needed.
- Know of people that have used dells. First month it is fine, second month it starts going funny and the sixth month it blows up!

In my opinion; of the two brands listed, Toshiba is the better.

 

go for toshiba. it is better than dell. i am using toshiba and my brother is using dell.

 

I'm using a HP compaq one, Toshiba is best for Entertainments stuff.

 

i bought a Toshiba Satellite L300 for $450

i have been through 2 Dell laptops, i won't buy another.

 

I had several Toshibas, and never had any problems. Great brand.
