How are the Ringtone People selling artists Content?

    There are so many content providers out there selling artists ringtones. How are they knowing what to pay them? There is no way they contacted each individual record label out there because there are too many content providers out there.


    Well, I have been searching around and havent found anything. Does someone know the answer to this?

    They are either pirating the ringtones or are part of a large affiliate program.

    Maybe they don't even sign contracts or anything. Just download the song illegally and sell it until they get sued. That's just my opinion.
