Not very well in general at the moment, people just don't seem to like them. However, there have been a few exceptions like:

    sync.me $40,005
    verify.me $12,000
    star.me $6,015
    massage.me $5,705
    sex4.me $4,175
    carparts.me $4,012
    edit.me $3,605
    photos.me $3,560
    parts.me $3,155
    kia.me $3,106
    macworld.me $3,005
    celebrate.me $3,005
    hawaii.me $2,606
    chocolate.me $1,417
    britneyspears.me $1,201
    birthday.me $1,005

If you have any good ones then its probaly best to just hang on to them for a while and let them settle. Of course, thats just my opinion but hope that helps?

yup, that's pretty amazing. Someone from Brazil bought Toyota.me for over $90k...I still can't figure that out...same thing for Mitsubishi.me.

    Yeah, I agree..

Good, catchy, brand able .ME domains are worth money now...
But they will be worth a lot more as time goes by.

There are already .me domain names sold for thousand$. However the most will not even worth the registration fees. I think that catchy domains like WillYouMarry.ME with a smart business model will make the .me domain names worth. It this extension is a success I believe that only time will show.

If you think you can BRAND a website with this extension then go for it!

    Honestly .me = Flop!

They didn't take off anywhere near as much as people expected, a lot of hype.

I am not quite sure how to measure the success of a domain extension. (especially one so young)

Going by the quotes above, I think those that got/get in quick will have a lot to smile about in the years to come.
Those that do/did not get in quick, will consider .me a flop.

    Time will tell I guess

So, you "assume" because i consider .me a flop i didn't get any?

Just the opposite, i've got more dingle dictionary .me domains than i know what to do with and nobody wants them. If the .me domains i own were .nets or even .orgs i'd be a multi-millionaire.

Example, i listed Slammed.me and Smoked.me here and got a grand total of $1.55 in offers for the pair. Look at the replies here it's a ghost town.

As i said, a flop and going the way of the .cc or .ws

No.. I try not to make assumptions to often.. I was always told.
"Don’t assume, you’ll make an ass out of u and me"

But after rereading my (early morning) post, I can see why you thought I made that assumption. sorry, my bad.

I see what you mean when you say they are not selling so well, but to be honest I think its to early to call them a flop.

This extension has not been tested like the others have, and with the "global meltdown" message being drummed into our heads on an hourly basis, I think most people are only putting there money into tested markets.

IMHO, Slammed.me is a lot more memorable, catchy and brand able than Slammed.com, org, net, cc, tv, etc. and the same goes for Smoked.me.

As I said above, Those that got in quick, will have a lot to smile about in the years to come.

I have no plans to sell any of my good .ME's within the next 5 years. (But I am always open to offers:D)

    Cheers

.me is pretty much useless, except that with some words it makes sense. But instead of love.me people would type: loveme.com
    It says everything about .me
I've got one .me name I'm gonna use it for a social bookmarking site.

I'm buying all of the major one and two word .me's while they're still available. I register everything for 2 years at a time - so, in 2 years if the demand isn't high, I'll just sell them for what I can and cut my losses. It's worth the risk, I guess.

Historically, if you have a premium domain with any extension, it will be worth something significant a few years later.
