How are alot of sites putting Valueclick ads below the 500 pixels part of the site?

    Hi,

Every site I seem to go to I find that they have ads below the page fold or 500 pixels area of their sites pages. When I check where these ads are coming from they are served up to the site from Valueclick or another CPM network.

I was just wondering how they all doing this when it clearly says in Valueclick that this is not allowed.

I would like to know this as I would like to put one ad slightly below the 500 pixes area of my site on one page, but don't want to break any TOS.

I know that even though the ad will be below that area it will still be receiving around a 0.7% - 2% CTR.

    Thanks!

Valueclick either hasn't audited them yet to kick them out of the network or have them fix it, or they've asked for permission from VC and got the OK.

If you want to, just send a support request in asking whether it'd be ok as you feel the conversion would still be good.
