How and why do you believe in your religion?

I'm a muslim, and born as a muslim, both my parents are muslim.
But I like to ask my self, what will happen if my parents is christian or jews or buddhist? Will I'll be a muslim anyway?
What will happen if my parents is atheist? Will I become an atheist too?
Are you christian? Are you born as chirstian? Or converted into christian?
Are you an atheist, or are you converted from one of religion into an atheist?
I think many atheist, are converted from one of religions, only few that born as an atheist.

So I create this poll to find out.

 

I am Hindu, my patents are also Hindu. None of my family members are converted from any religion.

 

my parents are christian orthodox but I'm an atheist. We're all born atheists. Only after indoctrination ou become a believer in this or that religion

 

Well according to Islam, we are all born as muslim, and I think that christian also believe that all people are born as christian.
Actually, I'm looking for someone who converted into religion here in DP. But I think it will be none. But many converted to atheist, or agnostic.
