Hi, I have over the past 6 years at various points pretty good up to date internet marketing know or what works and and doesnt. Over the last 3 years or so I havent kept up to date, I am about a month off publishing a new site that has a lot of information about advanced business methodologies. Im trying to find out what areas of net marketing I should be looking at, ie does 80% of all business leads come from google, so I should be looking at seo and ppc. and if thats the case are there advanced techniques for link building like BlogFarms, pyramid linking, or whatever else (I dont know muah at all about these, if they work or now) Its pretty hard to get an unbiased opinion, most people / articles are promoting a particular method because that is how they make there money. So, any advice on specific areas of net market i should put my efforts into, and often like to know about any advanced techniques to driving traffic + applications I should consider using. or is all the above information available in an article somewhere? thanks in advance for tackling my ignorance ;-)
Definitely check into PPC and SEO, as Google is not the only traffic source these days. It's still the best, and it's definitely the most used by far, but PPC and SEO are also quite important for advertising and getting the word out, as well as optimizing your site for the best possible rankings in the SERPS. I'm not promoting anything at all, as I am not a part of any promotional, purchasable programs (I don't buy ANYTHING online to do with traffic and link building, or anything of the sort). But if I was to suggest something, I'd suggest taking a look at a program called Xrumer. I don't know much about it, but I know it will get you what you are looking for.
