    Hi, You are newbie & you must have no or little experience with forum. I personally would recommend you to start with Free forums, like phpBB, MyBB or SMF & then when you have some good experience , you can go with paid forums script.

    There are many ways of earning, like Adsense, Adbrite, Global Interactive , Affiliates etc, choose which will suitable for you!

    Free Forum Scripts

    phpBB = www.phpbb.com
    myBB = www.mybboard.net
    SMF = www.simplemachines.org

    Download any & host it on your hosting, If you have cpanel hosting, then you can install this from (FANTASTICO).

    He has no knowledge about forums, so, I don't think, he should purchase/invest for some big forums

    Can you give us some more information. I see a lot of people recommending a free forum but perhaps that might not be the best way to go if you have a reasonably high budget. Whatever forum you start with you will probably keep with so perhaps spending $150 or 50 cents a day / year for the first year might be within your budget.

    If you are looking to pay for forum software then there are really only two good solutions.

    vBulletin - new version with many changes expected 6 months to 1 year from now
    Invision Power Board - Next version expect within 6 months.

    vB has many add on extensions but they are only usable for as long as the developers continue to support.

    IPB has less extensions but does a great job.

    Many opinions on which is best so I'll keep quiet about this. I use both :)
