I have setup a new website for the sale of a digital product called www.tvforyourpc.biz There is 0 traffic right now. Traffic is money... How can I drive traffic.. I am a newbie, please guide me!
submit it to directories and do link exchanges.. search for traffic in the traffic category here at DP...hope it helps
Basically, it looks your site is not optimized for SEO, do it with a professional SEO expert or if you believe your product can sell and have a good CTR, then try PPC ads to generate traffic and see the conversions.. that could be a quick way to generate traffic and to make money... Also, if you believe your products will sell, then remove adsense from it, don't loose $$ for pennies..
You need to put some content on the homepage. Nobody will wait 20 seconds for the video to load these days. Make sure the site provides value for your users as well.
Looks like a pretty good oppurtunity to advertise on myspace and facebook. Some people spend 3 hours on myspace a day. Doing what i dont know, but it shows that they like to sit on their behind , so your biz idea looks good for them and cheap. Try it. or else go for google adwords. If you put the price and good description of what your selling you will get alot of people that come to buy and not to watch.
There are many ways that you can drive traffic to your site, here are a few: Visit social network sites such as MySpace, Facebook etc. and advertise there. Visit forums that are dedicated to gilms/tv and advertise in your signature. Get some links to your site Write articles regarding your site post to ezine articles linking back to your site. Do a press release Use adwords or another ppc service Create a free report which you can give away which has links to your website. Hope these help.
you could directly promote your site using MYSpace comments/messages etc etc you can do this yourself or pay for a service such as the one in my sig.
