    Hi all,

In an effort to improve the performance of my adwords account i have experimented with some new texts ads. They are running along side with the old text ads and have been running for a few weeks now.

What i don;t understand is why they are only being served sometimes as low as 1% of the time? Ideally i wanted an even distribution of each ad text. Is the ad text served at random or is there any factors infuencing this?

    Thank you for reading! :)

As far as I know, if you've selected the optimisation for your campaign, Google will automatically select the ad text which has the highest CTR. I am about to start a new campaign and, I've created 4 ad groups which have 1 keyword its ad text each, so that when a user enters a particular keyword, the ad specific to the keyword will appear. (I hope:) )

You can select at your campaign settings between Optimize (Show more often better CTR% ads ) or Rotate (Show all ads equally)

Keep in Optimize as this will drive more traffic to your site automatically and improve your keyword Quality Score.

Only select Rotate if you are planning to run reports and delete bad converting ads frequently - Rotate method normally hurts your quality score as it serve non relevant ads to some keywords.
