how Adwords fights with malicious clicker

    Hi:
    It is possible that a malicious clicker manually/automatically clicks the ads which has higher rank of his own. By doing this, the owner of the higher rank ads will pay a lot of CPC without a conversion, resulting stopping their ads from adwords.
    Does Adwords have a way to fight this kind of malicious clicker and protect other advertisers? Or is it in Adwords' plan?

    Yes they do, at least to a certain extent.

    Google monitors for click fraud. A strategy like that could also backfire on the person clicking on competitors' ads, because ads with higher CTRs are ranked higher in Google.

    yes there is a whole team in google looking after this!! Actually this is one of the biggest issues. There is a whole industry out there regarding click fraud.
