How Adsense Will Look In The Future?

    With Google's upcoming acquisition of DoubleClick (one of the web's biggest profilers of web surfing behavior) for $3.1 Billion, it's possible that Adsense will become more personalized and relevant than ever before! Google will possibly be seen as a 'big brother' type company that is able to watch every move you make!

    How will Adsense look after the acquisition? Here's my prediction on just how personalized Ads will become! If you think it's contextual now...wait until you see this:

    Click through rates would go through the roof!:)

    But oh I get it now! That would be way tooooo scarey! Do you think that would actually get the attention of visiters? I know it would get my attention at first.. but then it'll probably feel like normal after that.

    That's a scary future. The ads wouldn't be contextual anymore, they'd be circumstantial :)

    No one would click on the ads though. I think a ton of people come online to escape reality. Seeing those ads would just make people mad lol. They would be like wtf I know I'm in debt I don't need the ads to tell me that.

    But maybe there's a good thing about it. In future, maybe G will know your habit, and shopping habit, preferences etc.

    So the relevant ads will always being delivered.

    i dont think it will be "personalized" but it will go to more "interactive". they might add more interactive functions into it. some great one i would like to see is "Jackpot Click" :)
