In my opinion, Google Analytics doesn't give 100% accurate result. Base from some articles that I've read wherein the tool is using Javasrcipt, there might be some problem which includes browser incompatibility with JavaScript or any other issues a user might have running scripts and that counts all results in the visitors behavior.

I think it's not necessary for to consider whether the accuracy of Google Analytics is 100% or not. It's known that lots of people benefit from this functional service.
What's more,it's free and easy to use. Therefore, try it and do not worry about the accuracy. It's trustable and worthwhile.:)

Yes, I would agree with you somehow, but accuracy matters too. From functionality and services points of view; it is the best however from accuracy point of view I am not sure about it. The reason is, I get thousands of hits in week and roughly, it can be estimated that at least few hundred visitors will approach the threshold value set by Google Analytics to consider them as visits but not even few hundred but only a small figure is project for that particular domain. So, I am not really sure about its accuracy.

It is not 100% accurate. No stat program that uses javascript code is as accurate as a stats program that gets your information directly from your log files. But Google Analytics is still great, and good enough for most.

I just started using GA about a week ago, and I've found that it doesn't really match up with my stats provided by my web host. So really, I'm not sure which one is more accurate. Maybe my web host stats are incorrect?

its pretty far from being accurate... just think about browsers not supporting javascript or those which do but avoid to interpret any javascript code. Still, it's my choice for (free of course) analytics :D

Although google analytics is not 100% correct, yet it gives us a lot of information which helps us in internet marketing and other aspects.

Thanks to google for this kind of tool for free

It's accurate enough for my needs. It's taking action with the information that improves marketing, conversions and sales.

Are any statistics 100% accurate? You have to understand the figures you're looking at, how they've been calculated and base your decisions on that. The same is true of TV Audience Figures, and most other statistics you see in the media.

Some webstats packages include spiders and bots therefore giving higher figures that GA, but IMHO the number of spiders visiting my site is not relevant (unless of course you want to believe the higher figures make your site better).

Also, it depends how you measure "users". In most cases a "user" not supporting JavaScript means it's a search engine spider or automated bot (not a real user).
