    Hi all,

i was looking for a domain name on ajaxwhois and a great one was listed as available. when i went to godaddy it was already registered. did ajaxwhois just make a mistake or could there be something else going on here? the domain isn't set to expire until june according to godaddy.

    thanks!

The only problem i found with ajaxwhois is domains with four letters or less, they sometimes have problems.
But other then that, it works fine.

they might work with a local DB (to make it so fast)...and perhaps an error sneaked its way into their DB.
Godaddy and other registrars obviuosly work in a live db.
