How accurate are those PR predictors???

    My site has a PR of 0 since it is a new site. I have tried some PageRank predictors that are offered by many websites. I keep getting up with different results, anywhere from a PR 0 to a PR 5.

    I wonder if these PR predictors are usefull tools or shouldn't be taken seriously.

    What do you think?

    There just as accurate as the date you predict the next PR update will occure on. aka, there crummy scripts.

    I have been trying various PageRank predictors for the last 8 months on a number of sites and I have NEVER seen any correct prediction's apart from PR0 staying at PR0 :)

    The only way you could predict PR would be to know the PR algo formula. And that is better kept than the coca cola one.

    PR predictors are just toys for newbies to have fun and loose their time with.

    you shouldnt take those prediction seriously... for fun ..yeah.
    and you should not based on those predictor to purchase site too.

    those predictor probably just based on the backlinks but real PR has alot more factors.

    anything in the google toolbar in your browser is real ;)

    No...because no one but Google knows the system, and they change it significantly at times, it seems.
