    As, I have seen in many search results, the operator OR [i.e. | ] is being used widely over the web. Is this beneficial from the SEO perspective? Can we use '|' symbol in our post titles??

    [e.g.
    SongMeanings | Lyrics | X Japan - Forever Love (English)
    Hindu Mythology - Indian Mythology - Hindu Mythology Articles {hyphen is also seen sometimes}

    There is ZERO benefit or deficit from utilizing these operators. It is merely an aesthetic quality and tends to just make it easier for the visitors to read.

    Well avoid underscores only in your title, description etc as search engine is always going to read that as one line...

    So separators have no such effect on search engines but they made it easier for every one to read.....

    These are called delimiters and Google prefers you either use " - " or " | " (minus the quotes obviously).

    Of course you can you "|" in the title tag of blog but don't use this symbol in post title. Put your post title without any of the operator.
