    I couldn't of said it better myself, you got it right on, I would recommend anyone looking for new hosting to stay FAR away from providers that offer "UNLIMITED", now "UNMETERED" is fine because there is a limit there which is defined by the port, ie: 10mbit, 100mbit, 1gbit, 10gbit, etc.

    There is a few providers that may have decent service that sell unlimited but I wouldn't count on it, Because sooner or later they will oversell, and overload there servers with too many customers, Here is why.

    This is a perfect example of why companies have to oversell and overload there servers.

    Company A(UNLIMITED):

    Server A & B = $250 a month

    Unlimited everything for $5 a month

    50 Customers x $5 = $250

    This means they would have to have 50 customers alone just to break even on the server, with no profit on the server, employees, advertising, and anything extra that will cost money to run the company, If 50 of them customers used 500GB bandwidth = 25TB in bandwidth which is about a dedicated 100mbit port.

    Company B(LIMITED):

    25 Customers x $10 = $250

    Now you see that the limited company, may charge more, but only has to have 25 customers on the server to break even, which could mean less resources being used, less cpu, bandwidth, ram, and less hogged, now It doesn't mean that company B couldn't be oversold It just gives it a better profitable range to make there money, profit and buy another server with less customers at a higher price.

    Okay that is my Schooling lesson for the day, hopefully I made a little sense!

    Thanks
