I have redesigned my website healthgenie to the new layout here. I have not activated links just yet. And I am going to decide on this following response about its aesthetics, functionality and, above all SEO aspects.
Well the new design is a definite improvement from the design you are using now. With that said, there is always room for improvement (being a web designer obviously I am a little bias). From a UI perspective, everything on the site feels crammed. You have no space. All the text is right up against the boxes. The list items on the right are pretty stuck too. You really need to mess around with the padding, line-height, and maybe even font size. You designed the size for 1024x800 or similar width so there is no reason everything should appear so cramped. Also, from a purely visual aspect I think a lot could be done. The UI isn't very good and the design is very primitive and boxy. If I was to stumble on this website through Google I would most likely assume it is an AdSense trap and leave. You need to use look and feel of the website gain the users trust and comfort that you aren't a scam or adsesne trap (even if you are haha). That is the thing about the AdSense sites. Most of them are put up so damn fast and designed so poorly that many times you can distinguish a legit site from a adsense site just by a quick look at the design. Lastly, I looked at your base markup and it is terrible. I am assuming you are using Frontpage or similar WYSIWYG editor so I was expecting it. Anyways, the new layout is definitely a step forward. But with anything, there is always room for improvement. cheers
