what if we all started submitting YAHOO and it's customers via the "report paid links" feature in google webmaster tools? don't take this as an invitation to do so, I was just thinking about that matter. yahoo is the biggest link seller in the whole www, and we do read a lot about the importance and trust of that backlink. so why not report it, as it is exactly what google does not want webmasters to do....buy links. what would google's reaction be to a massive abuse of their own wired feature? what if they received thousands of those reports? ban all accounts taking part in such an action? I doubt it, and think they'd rather remove that snitch tool. greetz elwood btw. my own business site is listed there for free as it was added years ago by who ever. ;-)
I like the way you think Elwood. It's funny how Google wants to change the rules in the middle of the game. - not that I don't love there services - but they cant have there cake and eat it too
of course it will not effect yahoo, and this is not even the point. the point is how google would react if the report feature got spammed. greetz elwood
