I see alot of members at DP getting limited at paypal or blocked .. I guess the main reason or most reason for being so is that their country is not yet listed and they are using accounts created at another countries .. Well I want to ask if we can DP members make petition to paypal authority asking them to accept all countries ? What do you think ?
I am sure there is more to it then just accepting a country just like that. They will need to make sure that they can work with the banking system of the respective countries and comply to their banking laws. You need a license for such an activity. If a country is high risk due to fraud or the likes, they may also not be accepted.
eddy said it exactly! Who do not want to earn more money? By being in more countries means more paypal members and more revenue. Issue is government intervention and protectionism as well as banking regulations.
my account has been limited since 12/27 and im furious over it!!I have a few directory sites and they found a pharmacy link in one of them and limited my account..well,i do NOT charge for every link,i let alot of freebies in but they dont seem to care about this..
That's quite ridiculous! Have you tried contacting their support? From what I know they do reply to emails. Just tell them your situation, to limit because of one link in a directory web site, either they are too strict or they do not know what is a directory.
whats the difference?I have 2 paypal accounts,both accept credit cards,but this is my main one..had it for about 4 years now? or so..130 rating?did as they asked...deleted the link..then called them..still limited..lots of subscriptions money not coming in..what happens to it?also,i had a return to newegg for a refund..wheres that money?since i cant get payments..what a ripoff!!!!!!!

Any valid reasons that they give to limit your accounts? Or did they just limit it without any reason?
what make you think paypal will listen to you or anyone else when they dont even reply emails to there users questions.... paypal is crap.... and paypal's highly trained skilled staff (paypal claim) are bunch of fat clowns who are too fat to reply or listen to anyone.... i hate to use paypal but even thought i hate them i have to use them because most of my advertisers pay me at paypal... and my hosting company accept paypal only... so this is the only reason why i am still using paypal... but for business i dont use paypal anymore...
If we were a lot , they will be concerned .. You must know that DP is the top webmaster and business forum .. and I guess they will recieve our message from here ..
They did reply my emails, but it is only after a lot of "talking" to their bots or their operators who just send out standard replies which have totally nothing to do with my questions. A lot of patience is needed. And you need a strong and sturdy wall, you will bang your head on it so many times, it has to be sturdy
I believe that the email support is handled by regional support so the speed of responses would vary from country to country. I am from Singapore and usually get a reply within one or two working days.
The Australian support is great. You dial the number and get straight onto an employee who answers everything you want to know They're nice and actually sound like they care
