Go tell that to the people who spent heck money on designs [IMG]
and i know how much they charge if you wish to advertise there anyway.

    "Many senior/trusted member exchange e-currencies"
i mean if you start banning those people who exchange/trade.

I'm just against this suggestion, just let the DP be what it is ATM. :)

I don't see money exchange as a new idea since it's already being done - not sure why some people are talking about DP changing into forex or money trading platform

Those deals already exist so either forbid those exchanges (by a rule) or make a separate forum for them to make things easier for the exchangers.

but I don't see letting the thing as it is being a good idea

It is the same situation as the digg/stumbles exchange, only at a higher level.
It is illegal, and dp should not endorse them. They can tolerate, but not endorse.

Everyones saying its illegal. But theres a big difference by simply breaking some companies own terms and conditions and actually breaking the law - just becuase you don't comply with paypals terms doesnt mean you are breaking the law.

Yes, this is a good point but how do you see DP turning into a money exchanging forum? You know what, once DP creates a money exchanging forum people from all other forums will join DP because of it's popularity and will flood this place with spam and scams. A little example I gave already about TG members who will join DP (in case a section is made for currencies) as TG has closed their exchange folder. So hell no it should happen on DP.

I didnt say I wanted DP to turn into an exchanger forum, and I know there is zero chance of it happening because of the amount of scams that will inevitably follow. I just wanted to make the point that people seem to assume if you break paypal/egold terms then you are automatically breaking the law. There is no way I would use an exchanger forum here, if I need any money changing I can do it via any of the legit exchangers with no sleep lost wondering if my cash will be there when I wake up lol.

And it shouldn't be allowed on DP.

everyone saying it's illegal and such, have a look at BST main section

Those threads exist everyday already ! and no rule about this so far

so either make a separate section for this to clean the BST main forum or else make a rule to stop such threads
