How about dead directory

If you have a directory you would not promote, you may have a lot work to do or you have not so much time on net, etc.

Will you refund all the paid submission or just leave them alone?

I think that if you have a paid directory and unable to devote time to it anymore the best course of action would be to sell it.

Diversification mate--diversification. I have few blogs running on empty pages. Need to take care of them after one more directory before August (another being after that). These days --PR5 is minimum to sell links as I can't sell on my PR4 BLOGs:mad:

You could hire someone to help you with it. Has this directory been promoted in the past and does it have a decent amount of listings? If so, you may consider hiring someone or working out some kind of a deal to get some help. If you don't want to do that, selling it would definitely be better than just letting it die and refunding submission payments.

Just wondering.... Why would you even consider paying out refunds and closing the directory when you have the option of selling it and making a little more money to free yourself of the responsibility. If you do end up selling it, please be ethical about it and make sure the new owner agrees to keep the listings that are already in the directory.

    Pm me the url.....

ill take a look and see if it interests me....
If it does we can agree to a price thats fair to you and me
but i make no promises of anything...(purchase wise i mean)
as i dont think its fair to those that paid and are listed or
those that didnt and are listed anyway ... so i would honor this...

    thx

    LOL
I have only two right now and I am wondering if I should bother with another one, as this two are taking so much of my time, especially dream directory.

This is one reason you should always put a time limit on paid links. If you've sold them for one year, you can just wait for them all to expire, (assuming your directory still has some free listings in it). Whereas if you've sold permanent listings, you're always going to have either some dissatisfied punters who feel cheated, or a new directory owner with a bunch of listings he or she may not want to keep.
