how a seach box come in the google result listing.

Hi All

i search a keyword in google.com. in result i found a site with the search box .my question is how a seach box come in the google result listing.


the Keyowod that i searched is "Holiday inn group"
and first result of the search contain the serach box .

Any one of forum will help me.

 

Google does that only just for the most authoriative sites that match the keyword being searched for.

If i want to place such type of search box on my site while any one search my site by keyword in google.

For that what i have to do .

 

There is nothing you can do; its something Google do; its an extension of the sitelinks program

 

but i have a site with very good reputation
www.mapsofworld.com
www.mapsofindia.com
www.maps-india.com

with approx.80 thousand visitor per day
then why google did not provide this faculity to my site

 

not even close; unless you are Nike; Wikipedia; Microsoft; Holiday Inn; etc then forget about it.

 

Daemon Tools website has the same search box

i think but im not sure is a code you put on sitemap

There is no code you put in the sitemap for this. Where did you get this rubbish from or did you just make it up?

 

80000 visitors per day isn't enough when u compare it with those of wikipedia

I have seen wikipedia have a search box in google SERPs...

you are still no where near although 80000 is a nice number. Keep going
