Hi all. As it says it's ok to post about products in this section, I thought I'd go ahead and do so. For Clickbank affiliates looking for a new product/site to add to their portfolio, I've just added www.marketingvideovault.com to Clickbank. It has around 100 video tutorials, as well as software tools, audio downloads and a selection of reports on hot marketing topics. There is also a very useful resources section. All in all a very useful site, particularly for the newbie. So if anyone wants to give it a push for me, I'd be very grateful
The more information you can give us here the better, saves us having to hunt down you commission % and stuff. If you really want us to sell your product talk it up a bit more let us know what's in it for us plus you will often get constructive criticism that may help you in the long run. And since I have already had a look, I'll start the slagging 50% of $27 = $11.98 to the affiliate, that's hardly going to get people promoting your product in a hurry so I suggest either raising the commission level to 75% which will pay out just under $18 to the affiliate or raising the price, 100 videos is quite a lot so a price increase could be justified. Ideally you would want to raise price and commission. I would also have some sample videos on your sales page so people can get an idea of what they are like. The page is way too short IMO and it should include some testimonials, give away a few free memberships if you have to in return for some testimonials. Just a few ideas
Thanks for your thoughts Terry and the slagging is fine lol. The price thing is one of those dilemmas - too high and no-one buys, too low and no-one promotes. I tried to pitch it somewhere in between, but perhaps you are right that I should go a little higher or at least alter the commission - or even both. Your testimonial idea is one I'm already working on. The aim of the site is really to provide a good grounding in the main principles of internet marketing. It's an educational resource for the many folks who are totally new to making money online and too easily fall prey to the get rich quick promises that I personally really dislike. That said, I do agree that I could boost up the sales page a little more to make it more persuasive - without being too hypey.
