yeah I bet your money goes a long way. In china its the same, your US dollar is worth 8x that, you can do pretty much anything on a descent budget. But of course like any modern city you can spend until your eyes bleed
Does that exclude rent? My budget is going to be... $30 a day for university next year College/Uni students should have a higher wage jk.
2 year school. Y, I think that my parents paid for one year of college (and both years of car insurance - that's a big one) and that included room and board...i.e. my 8x8 cell dorm room and their cafeteria "food". Aside from that I was responsible for the rest. Beer money, Combos snack food, and gas money, that was all me
Yeah, the $15 an hour is to do things like rewrite articles that I create for my web sites so that I have multiple copies that aren't exactly the same and other basic stuff that I used to do myself but am too busy for now. Also, they're all in college, and were making $6-$8 an hour before I hired them, so it's safe to say I have a happy group of employees
wow definately, 6$ for 8 hours, that is cheaper than slave labor. YOu have to house and feed slaves, that is practically free. i agree, that is kind of a shame how one persons value of another is so low
I don't take advantage of crap.... this is what i'm paying.. and they accepted. Anyway this kind of money that there getting is good for my countries normal wage.... it's not that good... but for people in there 20's it's ok here. Ofcourse i'm planning on giving them a raise.. but i'm waiting for my company's income to increase.
I was on $20/h and $40/h overtime last time i had a full time job. And being a student i did not get taxed.
That's very possible, geologists make that much (and sometimes even more) And private piano teachers here make $30/hr. It all depends on your degree of education OR luck (in business!) and where you live of course
3$? Jesus, is that USD? That must be illegal In the UK its £5.35 per hour - Age 22+ (Thats about $10.50) £4.45 her hour - 18-21 (That about $8.75) £3.30 her hour - < 18 (Thats about $6.60)
I think the minimum wage in Ohio is like $5.45 an hour. However, if you recieve tips for working at a restaurant or other business style like that, the business can only pay you $2.15 an hour.
That's the problem with living in a country where the wages are so low, the people with the best skills leave to work in countries where they can make a lot more. That means you might not be getting the best medical care/treatment/equipment when you need it, but that's the cost of living in a low wage country.
